THE EMBROIDERY PROCESS

ask and ye shall receive

If you have never ordered embroidery services before, or if this is your first time ordering from us, here’s how A-List stays a stitch above the competish and on Santa’s nice list:

QUESTIONS! We are going to ask you lots of questions about the size of the logo/design, where it will be placed on the garment, if you need us to order hats or shirts, what color is the logo/design and the garment, how many items, when do you need these done by, do the items need to be shipped out, and what’s your budget. We reserve the right to ask follow-up questions…we most definitely will.

art, art, where art thou

In order to embroider your logo/design, we will need an art file, preferably one of the following: PDF, AI, EPS, or SVG. Why these file types? Because they’re vector files which makes them easier to edit and digitize so our computerized embroidery machines can lay down some dope-ass thread on your threads.

We can use high-RES PNGs as well, but it depends on a few factors. If you request text only or a custom design, just let us know and we’ll provide a quote for the artwork. If you don’t have artwork already, we can create something for you. Provide some examples of what you like and our artists will get busy on the design.

“approvin’ the fresh samples”

Once we have all the info and art files, we’ll create a mockup and a digital representation of your logo/design embroidered with thread. We send this information to you in the form of a quote so you can approve (or disapprove) the quantities, prices, colors, and the artwork.

Before we embroider the merchandise, we run a single sample so you can see what they will look like when finished. If anything needs to be changed or tweaked, we’ll make the adjustment and run another sample and make sure you’re pleased before we run the entire batch.
